HOW IT WORKS
Bid Rivals is an exciting new online auction where you can buy premium products at a fraction of the retail cost. To be able to participate in the auctions you need to buy bids. You do this by buying "bid packages" through one of our secure payment solutions.
When you have bought a bid package, the bids are added to your bid account and you place bids in the auctions.
The auctions work as follows:
- Place bids by pressing the BID button
- Latest three bidders are shown. The last bidder is on top
- This is the current auction price. The user with the highest bid when the time reaches zero wins the auction and buys the product for this price
- Time is counted down towards auction closing. The time is reset with the bid time indicated in the grey field if a new bid is placed. Like any other live auction, the final hammer falls on the sale after the "Going one, going two, going three"

How does Buy Now work?
You never have to walk away empty handed from Buy Now auctions.
With Buy Now auctions you have the option of purchasing the product by paying the difference between your spent bids and the product price. You can buy the product at any time when the auction is online and up to 24 hours after the auction closed. You will get all the money you have spent on bidding refunded if you decide to buy the product.
When you decide to buy the product you will no longer be able to take part in the auction, and any BidAgents you have placed on that auction will be cancelled and the remaining bids returned to your bid account. The auction will continue uninterrupted for all other users.
In some auctions, we have restricted the number of bids you can use to buy the product. The value of each bid will still be 100% but you may not be able to count all bids up to the full value of the product. The total value of the bids that you can use ("Maximum refund") to buy the product is indicated under the Buy Now price calculation.
